Andrea Livio is a photographer, highly accomplished director, and entrepreneur in the world of international communication, visual storytelling, and video production. His passion for photography has taken him across the globe, capturing striking images that have been published in renowned international publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times, El Tiempo, and El Espectador, as well as in numerous art-focused magazines in both English and Spanish.
His photographic journey was shaped by two years working as a reporter in conflict zones during the early 2000s. This formative experience not only refined his visual language but laid the foundation for his unique storytelling approach—deeply rooted in authenticity, journalistic integrity, and a cinematic eye honed under challenging circumstances.
He is the founder of A31 Films, a Swiss-based film and VFX production company, where he continues to develop bold visual projects, combining cutting-edge technology with artistic vision.
Andrea was previously a founding partner of Show Reel Media Group, Italy's leading independent branded content agency, and co-founder of TK2, a video production company. He has directed and overseen high-impact campaigns for global brands such as Coca Cola, L'Oréal, Nestlé, Campari, and Unilever.
As a VFX supervisor, he has brought to life complex visual projects with a strong focus on CGI and post-production quality. His ability to manage large-scale, multi-platform productions—ranging from Hollywood premieres (Spider-Man: Far From Home) to massive live streaming events—has earned him numerous industry accolades.
Beyond the lens and the set, Andrea is an adventurer at heart. He completed a round-the-world motorcycle trip across 37 countries, merging his professional work with a constant quest for discovery and new perspectives.
Andrea's work reflects his unique journey—from South American explorations to global film productions. His distinctive visual style continues to evolve through his travels and creative endeavors, making him a true visual storyteller whose images and films bridge cultures and inspire audiences worldwide.
